About Brookside

Brookside Contracting Inc. is a professional landscape construction company based near St. Louis, Missouri. We specialize in residential and commercial landscape construction. We have been in business for over two decades and have focused primarily on water features. Our experience and expertise in the construction of water features is difficult to match in the St. Louis area.

Our water features include waterfalls, streams, ponds, fountains and natural swimming pools. We also construct other hardscape features including boulder walls and gardens, stone walls and pathways and outdoor entertainment areas.

Brookside combines artistic vision, attention to design detail and sound construction practices to create breathtaking, natural scenes in the landscape. “Natural” is a term and concept we embrace in our work and practices. We want our projects to look as if they have formed naturally in the landscape.

Over the years we have worked with many top professionals in our field in the St. Louis area and have produced some of the most spectacular, high profile, and naturally pleasing hardscapes in the area. We have also completed memorable projects in Illinois, Kansas, and Jefferson City, Missouri.

Part of the reason for our success is that we have a team of professionals in the field with over a 100 years of combined experience. We can count on them to work in harmony with other professionals and to consider carefully the design specifications and customer needs on any given project. They play an integral part in our success.

Michael Littlewood (professor and designer of natural swimming pools) once said, “Let us therefore resolve to plan and design in harmony with nature.” At Brookside we believe in this sentiment and extend it even further to include the construction part of the process.
